Grants Support Innovation Students throughout Ohio are engaged in innovative programs designed to prepare them for college. The programs are supported by $35,000 Replicable Model Grants awarded recently to 10 College Tech Prep Consortia. The consortia have identified needs and are piloting creative initiatives to foster Tech Prep student success in high school, improve transition to college with less remediation and ensure successful postsecondary program completion. Collaborative strategies involving high school and college partners include bridge programs, diagnostic testing, dual enrollment and academic intervention. Each consortium will complete a pilot strategy by June 30, 2007. The goal is to replicate new, successful strategies throughout the state. 2007 Replicable Model Projects
